When you go to the museum, you will see that most of the artwork is framed, especially the paintings. That's because artists want their work to look professional. This is a process called Framing. Framing is where you put a frame around your finished work. It's usually rectangular, but you can use any other shape you wish. It's also usually done when an artwork is finished, but you can do this anytime while you're working on your masterpiece. Framing is essential to making your art stand out. Without it, it won't catch people's attention.
