Rhythm and balance are some of the most important elements of graphic design. Rhythm is basically repeated patterns while balance is the stabilization and equalization of two or more things. Graphic designers use rhythm and balance by creating their own unique patterns in their work while also striking the right balance between the structure of their work and their creativity. They even make sure that the lines and shapes of the image are just right, so that the image will catch the viewer's attention. In order for to find your rhythm, I recommend drawing some things either on paper or on the computer. When you draw, you develop your own way of creating the image you want. You do it at your own pace and take your time. There's no need to rush. Your art is your space. Your escape. Your hand glides on the paper or tablet, creating unique strokes in a way that makes you feel comfortable. Once you found your rhythm, try using it consistently. Repetition is a big part of rhythm. Once you got the rhythm down, the next step is striking the right balance between your creativity and the quality of your work. You do this by experimenting and analyzing your work to see what needs to change and what can stay. Keep doing this until you're satisfied with your work. Once you mastered these two elements, you're one step closer to becoming a true graphic designer.
