Graphic Design 101 - Chapter 3: Scale

Scale is the manipulation of the size of an image. You can make it bigger or smaller. It's entirely up to you. Graphic designers play around with this to put depth into their artwork. They make an illusion that the objects in the image are either bigger/smaller than each other or far away from/close to each other.

In this image, the guy on the far left, the other guy next to him, and the house are smaller than the giant fidget spinner that's taking up most of this image space, indicating that the guy on the left is throwing the fidget spinner while also dabbing, and the other guy is watching him do that. Also, the windmill on the upper left is also small, which indicates that it's sitting on top of a hill in the background. This is a great example of Scale.
