Graphic Design 101 - Introduction: What is Graphic Design?

For centuries, design has been one of the main essentials of both creativity and life itself. Because of the simple concept of making something, man has created many things, and the world has become what it is today. There are many aspects of design, and graphic design is no exception. Graphic Design is the process of designing images on a digital screen. Any image you make is part of Graphic Design. Even a simple dot counts as Graphic Design.

Even though designers draw on the computer using a stylus or mouse, there are some that draw using code. They enter coordinates for each point and then connect them together to form shapes and designs. They also create bezíer curves by entering a code involving lots of parameters.
